Join this one-day session to learn how our (volunteer) community doula model helps new parents – especially those facing systemic disadvantage – feel more confident and supported.
Discover how you can help strengthen the connection between families and local services, while fostering a nurturing environment that empowers parents during the critical postnatal period.

- Introduction to postnatal doula skills and knowledge (learning how to support new parents and link them with essential services).
- Explore pathways to complete BFH’s full doula training and join our volunteer doula program.

- Who can attend: Anyone living or working in the City of Yarra and interested in supporting families by completing Birth for Humankind’s full postnatal doula training (2025 dates to be announced) and volunteering with us.
