Community-based doulas for migrant and refugee women

Our CEO Ruth Dearnley has contributed to a new publication in BMJ Global Health that adds valuable evidence on the role that community-based doula programs play in providing culturally-responsive care to migrant and refugee women and gender diverse birthing parents.

The findings will inform community-based doula organisations, maternity healthcare services and policymakers in supporting newly arrived clients.
